Film "Diary of a Tennis Player: Aleksandra Krunic awarded in New York City

Our documentary film "Diary of a Tennis Player: Aleksandra Krunic" was awarded at the New York International Film Awards (NYIFA).

That was the first time that a film of a Serbian production receives an award at this competition and in this category.

NYIFA competition represents the beginning of a festival tour for this film, which will be included in the official selection of a famous Sport Film Festival "Paladino d'Oro" which will be held in Palermo, in November 2022.

"I'm delighted to have received this award at the very start of our festival tour. It is an honour and represents a confirmation that we have done a good job. Filming took place in 12 different countries over the course of almost two years. During that period, apart from the pandemic, we were faced with numerous challenges but this award is yet another proof that we should never give up trying. I look forward to the upcoming festivals and sharing this film with the audience", stated Aleksandra Svonja, the director and producer.
